Congressman Seth Moulton to Headline Summit
Congressman Seth Moulton is serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for Massachusetts's 6th congressional district since 2015. A former Marine Corps officer, he is a member of the Democratic Party.
Seth Moulton was first called to service when he joined the Marines in 2001, days after graduating from college and months before the attacks on 9/11. As the leader of an infantry platoon, he was among the first Americans to reach Baghdad in 2003. He served four tours in a war that he didn't agree with - but he was proud to go, so no one had to go in his place.
Following his return from active duty with the Marines in 2008, Moulton attended a dual-degree program at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School, earning master's degrees in business and public policy in 2011. After graduate school, Moulton worked for a year as managing director of the Texas Central Railway, a transportation firm developing high speed rail in Texas.
Following this, Seth was called to service for his country again running for Congress on a platform of bringing a new generation of leadership to Washington, becoming the only Democrat to unseat an incumbent in a primary in 2014.
In the two terms since he was first sworn in, Seth has worked tirelessly to uphold his commitment to bipartisanship.
